Our Case Managers coordinate care across multiple disciplines and ensure each injured worker receives accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and long-term support.

Neurological & TBI Management

• Access to providers specializing in closed-head injuries to ensure accurate classification by severity, type, location, mechanism of injury, and physiological response.
• Experienced management of post-concussive syndromes, mild to severe TBIs, subdural and subarachnoid hemorrhages, increased intracranial pressure, and post-craniotomy care.
• Oversight of neurological and psychological issues, with clear documentation distinguishing neurological symptoms from psychological factors.
• Coordination with Board-Certified Neuropsychologists for diagnostic clarification and plan-of-care recommendations.

Spinal Cord Injury & Complex Care Coordination

• Management of multi-disciplinary care involving Physical Medicine & Rehab, Urology, Gastroenterology, Pain Management, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Orthotists, and Neurosurgery/Orthopedic Surgery.
• Education for injured workers to build competency in medication management, safe transfers, monitoring spasms, and bowel/bladder program adherence.
• Provision and coordination of durable medical equipment (DME), including manual and electric wheelchairs, bedside commodes, shower chairs, transfer boards, A-frames, hoyer lifts, and bed safety rails.

Functional Recovery & Home Accessibility

• Education on proper repositioning frequency to reduce risk of ulcerations, wounds, and pressure-related injuries.
• Comprehensive home assessments to address accessibility needs, including doorway modifications, kitchen adjustments, and bathroom adaptations.
